Jawan Box Office Update: Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee's mega action drama, Jawan, had a HISTORIC first day at the box office. The film has shattered all opening day records for a Bollywood movie and has set new ones that will be difficult to surpass.Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan has become the first Bollywood movie to cross 60 crores, 65 crores, and 70 crores on the opening day. Previously, Pathaan became the first Bollywood movie to cross 55 crore nett on opening day, and Jawan has crossed that record by a big margin.Jawan collected approx. 64 crore nett in the Hindi version, while the Tamil and Telugu versions added 8.5-9 crore nett more. The all-India figures for Jawan are over 70 crore and have a chance of hitting the 75 crore mark if the final numbers come a little higher. Shah Rukh Khan is competing with himself as far as this year's Bollywood movies are concerned, until September.
