SMASHING STATS! Jawan Sells Over 2 Lacs Tickets In National Chains and Over 4 Lacs For The Weekend —

Shah Rukh Khan's pan-India flick Jawan is on a record-breaking run in advance bookings. After smashing Pathaan's record of highest ticket sales in the first 24 hours, Jawan has now become the fastest film to cross 2 lacs in advance sales initially.

Jawan has crossed the 2 Lacs ticket sales within 48 hours of advance booking for the opening day. Pathaan had also crossed 2 lacs in ticket sales within 48 hours, but the initials were lower since the film didn't have any South Indian faces to get solid bookings in dubbed versions. Jawan is huge in the South also, especially in the dubbed versions in the non-Hindi-speaking areas, where Bollywood movies hardly get any audience. Jawan's dubbed version has covered a gap there.

Speaking of all-India data, Jawan's current ticket sales are over 4 lacs and counting. As per BMS (Book My Show) stats, Atlee's directorial sold 2.54 lacs tickets on the first day and 1.82 lacs tickets on day two. The total is massive at 4.36 lacs and will escalate in the coming two days. Looking at the trends, Jawan will be looking to settle above 5 lacs in ticket sales for the opening day and might even hit 6 lacs, which hasn't been done by any Bollywood movie yet.
