Farmers have been continuously protesting against the three farm laws introduced by the government and recently, Janhvi Kapoor and the team of her upcoming film Good Luck Jerry had to bear the brunt of the entire issue.

Janhvi is shooting for Good Luck Jerry in Bassi Pathana, in Punjab and the shoot came to a brief halt on Monday, as a few farmers landed on the film's sets and insisted Janhvi to make a comment on the ongoing protests. It was a peaceful protest so nothing major happened but the shoot had to be stopped for a few hours. The farmers wanted assurance of support from the film's team and the matter was resolved mutually.

Post the incident, Janhvi wrote a post on her Instagram story in support of the farmers. She wrote, "Farmers are at the heart of our country. I recognise and value the role that they play in feeding our nation. I hope a resolution is reached soon that benefits the farmers."

Good Luck Jerry is being produced by Anand L Rai and Sidharth Sengupta is directing it.
