Janhvi Kapoor To Work With Rajkummar Rao In 'Rooh-Afza'

Janhvi Kapoor who made an impressive Bollywood debut with 'Dhadak' will now be working in a horror-comedy titled 'Rooh-Afza' which will co-star Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma. The film is expected to kick off in Uttar Pradesh in June this year.

The production house Maddock Films shared the news on social media.

The film will be directed by Hardik Mehta and is being produced by Dinesh Vijan and Mrighdeep Singh Lamba. The film is scheduled for release on 20th March, 2020. In the interim, Janhvi is occupied with the shoot of her next film, the biopic of Gunjan Saxena, India's first female IAF officer. She will also be seen in Karan Johar's multi-starrer Takht alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Bednekar and Anil Kapoor.

After the runaway success of horror-comedy 'Stree', it will be interesting to see how 'Rooh-Afza' turns out.
