Jane Fonda To Skip Toronto Film Festival Due To Illness

Veteran actress Jane Fonda, who was planning to make an appearance at the Toronto International Film Festival has claimed to have cancelled her trip due to medical reasons.

The actress recently wrote in her blog, "Bummer! I was to be at the Toronto Film Festival today and tomorrow to support my newest film... but I have been sick with a persistent and very contagious bug for the last 5 days and had to cancel the trip." However, Fonda is apparently turning the illness to her advantage by spending the spare time watching the US Open Tournament and college football games.
