“I was lucky that I was able to spend the last few months with her. One always feels, ‘I wish I had done more.’ ‘What could I have done differently?’ It really takes a lot of time to come to terms with it. I don't think I have come to terms with it," said the Kick actress.
She further added, “I look at it from the perspective of what she would have wanted. She was always my biggest cheerleader. We come from such a simple household where it seemed absurd that anyone would go into acting. I was so scared to tell them that acting was my true calling; it was something I wanted to do ever since I was a kid. I only told them around 18-19 that I felt like pursuing this."

"There was no hesitation, and there never was. Whatever we go through as actors in the industry, our parents also experience it. Everything is out there. What I admire is that it takes so much for parents to support you through everything. She was always so proud, and she would only want me to keep striving," she concluded.
