Jaat's 5-day collections:
Sunny Deol's actioner Jaat has made a decent business in the first 5 days, boosted by 2 partial holidays and one Sunday. However, the real test begins today as the film finally faces a non-holiday weekday. It must show a strong hold from here on to achieve a HIT verdict, which seems very difficult at the moment, but not impossible.
Jaat Extended 4-Day Weekend Total Reaches Gadar 2's First Day Figures –
Jaat has generated a business close to Rs. 46 crore nett in the first 5 days and may settle with approximately 55 crore nett in the first week. The film will face competition from Kesari Chapter 2 starting Friday, which is a holiday, followed by Saturday and Sunday. If it can remain strong over the second weekend, then it has a chance to reach "HIT" status.

The Gopichand Malineni action drama collected approximately 7.25 crore nett on Monday, which is a fair total on a holiday (partial holiday in many states). The film will see a drop today, but how much? That is the question. It has performed well in mass pockets, but the urban areas haven't really supported it, and the movie business today is mostly driven by national chains in big cities. Nonetheless, Jaat has a chance to reach Average status from here on, if not a HIT. Due to the high costs involved, the movie needs 100 crore nett for the HIT tag, which doesn't seem very likely at the moment unless it remains solid in the next two weeks.
