Jaat vs. Gadar 2 opening weekend:
Jaat hasn't seen a significant jump on day 3 as many expected, but the film has added another decent total today. The Sunny Deol-starrer collected approximately 9.50 crore nett on Saturday, which is quite similar to the film's opening day collections. The Friday collections were down to ₹6.50 crore nett, and the film needed to recover that loss today, which did not happen significantly.

Gopichand Malineni's action flick now has a total of around 25 crore nett in the first 3 days, which is surprisingly nowhere close to the opening-day figures of Gadar 2. Anil Sharma's sequel was a much bigger film than this, and this one was also a fresh film, not a sequel. However, the trade had some expectations from Jaat, and the film has underperformed for sure. We can only be relieved that it’s not a disaster like the previous major release, Sikandar.

Gadar 2 had opened to ₹39 crore nett in a clash against OMG 2; otherwise, it would have easily crossed the 45 crore nett mark. The weekend figures for the blockbuster sequel were 132 crore nett, and the new release won't reach that number even after weeks.
