Jaat box office collections:
Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda's Jaat has done a respectable business in its first week, with the numbers reaching the 54 crore nett mark. This is a commendable total considering how Bollywood films have performed this year, except for Vicky Kaushal's mega blockbuster, Chhaava.

Jaat Wednesday box office:
Jaat collected approx. 3.50 crore nett on Wednesday, the first proper non-holiday for the film, as Monday was boosted by the holiday and Tuesday saw a slight spike due to ticket rate offers. The film still has one more day left of its free run and should add another 3 crore nett to take its extended first-week total a little short of the 60 crore mark.
Kesari Chapter 2 team, Akshay Kumar, Karan Johar & Ananya Panday thank PM Narendra Modi for mentioning C. Sankaran Nair's work –
This total isn't enough to make the film a HIT, as it needs to perform strongly in the next week while clashing against Kesari Chapter 2. Gopichand Malineni's directorial effort should have performed better in the opening weekend; if it had, the situation would have been different. It's just that the hardcore treatment kept the multiplex audiences away, and the film lost those hefty numbers from urban centers that have higher ticket prices. Nevertheless, the film can aim for an Average verdict from here, which seems very possible at the moment.
