Irrfan Khan played Dr. Ranjit Ratha in The Amazing Spider-Man (2012). Now, the industry is abuzz with rumours that he has been approached to play one of the villains in the third part of the series scheduled to release in 2016.
At the end of The Amazing Spider-Man film, there was a hint of the 'Sinister Six' ; a group of villains set to take down the web-swinging hero. Irrfan is reportedly in the running to play one of the six bad guys.
While neither the actor or the studio is ready to confirm this development, we are eagerly waiting for a statement regarding the role in the near future.
