After getting a Hollywood remake starring Sienna Miller and Steve Buscemi, hit Dutch film The Interview is all set to be adapted in Hindi. The official Hindi remake of Theo van Gogh's original is titled The Interview: Night of 26/11 and it stars Jackie Shroff and Anjum Nayar in the lead roles.

Jackie Shroff will be seen in an all new-avatar as he steps into the role of a veteran war correspondent, who is given the task of interviewing an actress played by Anjum. As he interviews the actress, the journalist gets drawn into her intriguing world and realises that there is much to the beautiful star than just the glamorous façade that the public sees. Thus, ensues a passionate duel between the two. The film takes you on a roller coaster ride with emotional confessions, a game of deception and finally confrontation.

Dutch director Laurens C. Postma ( director of acclaimed commercials worldwide including in India of ad Mountain Dew starring Hrithik Roshan) has helmed the film and it will mark his debut in Bollywood. The makers roped in the director to keep the flavour of the original intact, even as they adapted it to Indian sensibilities. Monty Sharma has composed the music, while Prawal Raman has penned the dialogues, and screenplay has Laurens partnering with Farrukh Dhondy. The Interview: Night of 26/11 has been produced by Pappee Sangtani, Sunitha Ram, Laurens Postma and Fourth Wall Entertainment. Premieres on digital August 2021, with Book My Show TVOD.
