Interstellar Hits 10 Crore Mark in the Opening Weekend in India re-release –

The magic of Interstellar captures the Indian box office yet again. It’s been 11 years since the original release of this sci-fi film, which became a success back then, and it seems that the magic is still alive even after a decade. Christopher Nolan's acclaimed masterpiece was re-released in India and, as expected, it has resonated well with audiences.

Interstellar opened with Rs. 2.50 crore nett on Friday, making it the biggest opening total for any Hollywood film in re-release. It outperformed recent Bollywood re-releases like Tumbbad and YJHD. The film showed a fantastic jump on Day Two, achieving a total of Rs. 3.50 crore nett. On Sunday, it climbed even higher and hit the 4 crore nett mark, according to estimates.

Interstellar had collected Rs. 38 crore nett in its original release and has now reached the 10 crore nett mark in the re-release. The total for the film stands at Rs. 48 crore nett, and it is expected to hit the Rs. 50 crore mark today or tomorrow. The sci-fi epic aims to cross the Rs. 60 crore mark as well, and who knows, it might even reach 65 crore.
