The trailer of 'Inferno'—the last chapter of 'The Da Vinci Code' and the 'Angels & Demons' series—is out and this time Tom Hank's symbologist Robert Langdon has the task of saving humanity.
The trailer of the film, which is based on Dan Brown's bestseller by the same name, revolves around the mysterious 'switch', which was mentioned in the teaser. Langdon is given the 'switch' and when it is activated it will wipe out half of the human population. If Langdon fails to hit the switch, the human race will go completely extinct in the next 100 years. This is the dreadful dilemma posed to Robert Langdon in the first trailer of the movie.

Langdon and Sienna Brooks, played by Felicity Jones, are on a manhunt across Europe to stop the pandemic. Actor Irrfan Khan, who plays the villain's right hand man, too finds a blink-and-you-miss appearance in the trailer.
The film, which also stars Omar Sy and Sidse Babett Knudsen, releases on October 14 in India.
