'Indian Idol 2' Winner Sandeep Acharya Passes Away

Sandeep Acharya, the winner of second season of popular singing reality show Indian Idol passed away at Medanta Hospital, in Gurgaon on Sunday. The crooner had been suffering from jaundice and was first admitted to a hospital in his hometown Bikaner. However, when his condition started deteriorating, he was taken to Gurgaon. The 29-year-old is survived by his wife and one-month-old daughter.

Many celebrities also took to Twitter to mourn his death.
