The 9-day marathon run of the International Film Festival of India 2022(IFFI) came to an end yesterday, on November 28, in Panaji, Goa. The closing ceremony saw the presence of Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, South superstar Chiranjeevi, veteran Bollywood actress Asha Parekh, Union Minister Anurag Thakur, and other known celebs.
Akshay Kumar was felicitated by the hands of Union Minister Anurag Thakur, Minister Dr. L. Murugan, and the Chief Minister of Goa, Mr. Pramod Sawant, for attending the grand closing ceremony of the prestigious film festival.
During his speech, Akshay Kumar lauded, "India is on course to becoming a superpower. The maximum number of films are made in India and our films are produced in most languages. Thank you to IFFI, for the way they have taken our movies to a global audience."
