"I Was Nervous," Says Riteish Deshmukh On Sharing The Screen With Wife Genelia Deshmukh In His Directorial Debut 'Ved'

Bollywood and Marathi actor Riteish Deshmukh has turned director with his upcoming Marathi movie, Ved. On the occasion of Diwali Padwa, he unveiled the official posters featuring himself and his wife, Genelia Deshmukh. Check them below:

The poster looks intriguing and both the stars look intense in the poster, speaking volumes of the madness, craze, and passion the movie promises to bring. Genelia Deshmukh, who is making her Marathi acting debut with Ved is also the producer of the movie.

"I was nervous. Still a little nervous. Genelia and I have been working on Ved for a while now and were eagerly waiting to finally share it with everyone. And I think the auspicious Diwali padwa was the perfect time to reveal the first look. We have worked hard on this and hope everyone loves it too," said Riteish Deshmukh.

Ved also stars Jiya Shankar and Ashok Saraf in pivotal roles. A popular music duo from the Marathi cinema industry, Ajay and Atul, are helming the music of the film. Ved will see superstar Salman Khan in a special cameo role and is slated to release on December 30th, 2022.
