"I Was Feeling Bad That Ranbir & Alia Could Not Come To Mahakaleshwar Temple," Says Ayan Mukerji

The Brahmastra trio, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Ayan Mukerji, are on a promotional spree across the nation currently. The trio were in Ujjain yesterday to seek blessings at Mahakaleshwar temple for the success of their film, Brahmastra. However, Bajrang Dal activists protested outside the temple, and therefore, Ranbir and Alia decided not to go there.Director Ayan Mukerji was the only person who managed to go inside the temple and seek the blessings. Reacting to this disheartening incident, Ayan said, "I was feeling bad that Ranbir and Alia could not come with me for Darshan to Mahakaleshwar temple. I had gone to Mahakaleshwar temple before my motion poster was released. And, I told myself that I would definitely come here before the release of my film."

"Both (Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt) were keen to come with me. But, when we reached there we heard about this. I felt bad about what happened there. And, then I told Ranbir and Alia to let me go alone. I went there to seek blessings and energy for the film. I just didn't want to take Alia there in her current condition. So, I felt very bad going there alone," he concluded.
