The makers dropped the trailer online today, which offers a realistic perspective of a single woman engulfed by the harsh realities of society. Watch it below:

Shamita Shetty shares, "The Tenant is a reflection of society from a modern, independent, single woman's perspective, with experiences and learnings every woman in India has been subjected to at some point in her life. The compelling backdrop and sensitive as well as realistic narrative of the film connected with me, prompting me to instantly agree to do the film. I truly believe, every woman and the people around her, would deeply resonate with the story, offering a deeper insight into the disturbing, prevailing realities of the society we live in today!"publive-imageThe filmmaker is equally gung-ho about the release after receiving overwhelming reactions at festivals abroad. "It’s a topical subject that has struck a chord across the world. Kill is ruling at the box office. The film has kept the strong hold going on the weekdays, despite competition from Kalki 2898 AD and rain affecting business in the Mumbai and Maharashtra regions.

Kill clocked in 1.24 crore nett on Wednesday, taking its total over the 10 crore nett mark. The audiences are loving the film and hailing it as the best action film in Indian cinema. The most highlighted part is the action sins between Lakshya and Raghav Juyal that people want to watch in repeat mode.KillKill has found appreciation from audiences, and the numbers are proving it. The film is set for a good number in the first week, and looking at the superb word of mouth, it is sure to see a fantastic hold in the second week as well.
