"I have not been single, I have been in relationships" - Shenaz Treasuryvala

Promos of Main Aur Mr. Riight are on air and Shehnaz Treasurywala is returning as a female lead, after being seen opposite Imran Khan in Delhi Belly. While the film releases this Friday (12th December), the fact remains that Shehnaz has been away from the big screen for way too long now. 

In the film, she plays a young woman searching for her Mr. Right. Needless to say, one can pretty much assume that she brought in some real life references into play as well while enacting the part of Aliya for the film.

"Well, one of my closest friends, Sonia, is like Aliya. She is perfect from head to toe," reveals Shehnaz, "She plans things two weeks in advance. She has her outfit for the whole week picked out three days ahead. She does three gym classes on Saturday and then gets her hair blown out. She is extremely successful and self made. She’s Ms. Perfect. And yes, she wants a perfect man." 

How about her perfect man? For someone who is known for her vivacious and spirited attitude, it is tough to believe that she is not really in a relationship. And if that is the case, she is doing a good job in keeping it under the wraps. So what's the real deal after all?

"I have been in relationships. I have not been single this whole time; of course I have had boyfriends. At the moment I am actually single after a long time and it feels good," Shenaz adds with a smile.

As for Main Aur Mr. Riight, the film is now releasing just a week before Aamir Khan's PK. That's being a little too adventurous, isn't it?

"That’s the producer's call. I am just an actor in this one," she says.
