Aamir Khan about Remakes:
Aamir Khan has been receiving a lot of trolls for doing back-to-back remakes with Laal Singh Chaddha and now Sitaare Zameen Par. However, the actor says that he believes in remakes and will continue doing so. He also stated that he has no issues with remakes, no matter what trolls think.

At a recent podcast, the PK actor said that people still perform Shakespeare’s plays even today, and he remains the most staged playwright globally, with his works being adapted into countless languages—yet no one questions those as remakes. He added that after Laal Singh Chaddha, many criticized him for doing another remake, but he sees things differently. He went ahead with Sitaare Zameen Par despite knowing that it would be another remake and that people would troll him for that. He stated, "I want to tell this story in my way."

He explained that he doesn't view remakes as a lack of creativity or practicality; instead, he considers them new expressions of storytelling. According to him, he simply offers his own interpretation of a narrative originally crafted by someone else, and that in itself feels like a fresh creative process.
