Divya Khosla Kumar has two major reasons to smile. Her debut film Yaariyan has opened as well as last year's blockbuster Aashiqui 2 and has also done almost double the business of Madhuri Dixit's Ishqiya 2 which came with an advantage of being a sequel with many more established stars.

"As we talk, I am informed that shows for Yaariyan have been increased at many centres. Exhibitors are so happy with the film. For a film with newcomer actors and director, it is such a good thing to see the collections match those of Aashiqui 2. Audience word of mouth is positive and that is what matters," beams Divya who is obviously enthralled with the response to the film.

Though her film was graced with review ratings of as low as zero by certain critics, there are many zeroes added - and that too in the right direction - to the moolah that the film is drawing at the box office.

With the film heading for a good week at the box office and in the process bringing film way into the safety zone, Divya is happy that she didn't get any favorable star ratings for her film.

"Dear critics, please keep these stars with yourself. Anyways, I can't take them home and run my kitchen with that. That is done by audience who have stepped into my film; I am better off with that," she declares before signing off.
