Hrithik Roshan, lead star of 'Guzaarish', a magician turned quadriplegic, admits to an express fondness for Ethan Mascarenhas, his character in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Guzaarish'.

"Asking me to define 'Guzaarish' is like asking me to define nature," said Roshan Jr. at the music launch of the flick at Yash Raj Films Studios in suburban Mumbai. "It has all the contrasting elements of nature and how do you define nature in words. 'Guzaarish' taught me gratitude. It's a film beyond judgement and it changed my life forever."

Meeting up with real life quadriplegics, by way of preparation for his role of Ethan did leave an indelible impression on Roshan Junior.

"I remember sitting for six hours and laughing and smiling with him," reveals Hrithik. "It's only later that it struck me that he was a quadriplegic. You can't even fathom how much greatness that require to evolve to be able to smile through that kind of a tragedy. We would see it as a tragedy but they don't they are true heroes, that inspired me and that became a responsibility for me to project the ethos of these fabulous amazing people on screen."
