Hrithik Roshan: 'My father had almost shelved 'Krrish 3' due to my back issues'

Bollywood's Greek God Hrithik Roshan, who will be next seen essaying the role of a masked superhero in Rakesh Roshan's Krrish 3, recently revealed that the film was almost on the verge of being shelved because of his health issues.

At an event, the light-eyed actor said, “For the film, my main physical challenge was to resurrect my back as I had suffered a double slip disc back then and doctors had warned me against shooting for Krrish 3. In fact, they had told my father that it would be highly dangerous for me and my dad had decided to shelve the project because of my back issues. However, I asked for three months and convinced him that I will be able to get back in shape and be able to shoot for it.”

Apart from Hrithik Roshan, Krrish 3 also stars Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut and Vivek Oberoi. The film is slated to release on November 4 this year.
