Hrishikesh Mukherjee Inspired Karan Johar To Make Good Newwz!

Karan Johar unveiled the trailer of his upcoming production venture, Good Newwz today and at the trailer launch of his Akshay Kumar-Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer, the filmmaker revealed that the inspiration of this film came from Rishikesh Mukherjee’s social comedies.
Karan said, “Hrishikesh Mukherjee sahab used to make social comedies and I always wanted to make one such film under Dharma Productions. A social comedy that is relevant and emotional. One that makes you laugh and cry and has a feel good factor.”
Rishikesh Mukherjee has made cult films like Anand, Chupke Chupke, Gol Maal and Bawarchi to name a few. Directed by Raj Mehta, Good Newwz also stars Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh and will release on December 27.
