Housefull 5 continues its good run at the box office, displaying an upward trend on its second day. The film saw a decent 30% jump on Saturday, thanks to the Bakri Eid holiday boost, taking its two-day total to approximately ₹51 crore nett. After opening with ₹22 crore nett on Friday, Saturday brought in around ₹29 crore, indicating a solid opening weekend ahead. 

The rise in collections is a promising sign for the Akshay Kumar-led film, especially given the mixed pre-release buzz. The ensemble cast, grand scale, and franchise appeal seem to resonate well with family audiences, which are turning out in good numbers over the weekend. However, the production cost is quite high this time, so there is a long way to go.

With Sunday still to come, the film is eyeing a weekend total exceeding ₹80 crore nett. However, the real test for Housefull 5 will be on Monday. A strong hold during the weekday would signal commercial success and potentially a hit verdict. Until then, the momentum is in its favor, and the film is firmly positioned as one of the top openers of the year.

The worldwide gross of the film is close to ₹80 crore in the first two days as the international markets have contributed ₹19-20 crore gross in two days, with the Gulf showing a good hold due to Eid. The worldwide opening weekend will be in the range of ₹125-130 crore gross.
