Himesh to Drop the Burqa

Last year,Himesh Reshammiya made headlines when he visited the Ajmer Dargah Sharief before the release of his film, donning a burqa. That news created quite a stir and did not go down well with the dargah authorities. Anyway Himesh is ready to do it all over again.

We do not mean the burqa bit but the pilgrimage bit, of course. Now that his latest film Karzzzz is due to release on October 17, he is scheduled to visit the Ajmer Sharief dargah next week to seek the blessings of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. But no hiding behind veils this time for Himesh. He has promised to take proper permission and protection from the authorities. Karzzzz's promos have already started being aired and are creating quite a stir in the industry. The music, the look, the ambience all promise to be quite a treat. It seems that director Satish Kaushik may have just managed to make a good remake of Subhash Ghai's original super hit Karz. But what's it with Himesh and remixes. If the buzz is to be believed, then he is involved with another remake. This time it is a song and not a film. According to reports, the actor will soon be performing to the remix of the popular Madhuri Dixit number Ek Do Teen for his next film A New Love Ishtory, which sees him cast opposite newcomer Niharika Singh. The film is being directed by John Mathew Mathan. Apparently, after Madhuri's jhatkas ands matkas, the remix will have Himesh shaking a leg and more.
