Himesh And Urmila to Shoot An Item Song for the First Time in Karzzzz

Himesh Reshammiya, is all set to shoot an item song with Urmila Matondkar for his film Karzzz being directed by Satish Kaushik. The song is titled Tandoori Nights and will be shot in Mumbai. Both have recently completed a 40 day outdoor shoot for Karzzz in South Africa and Johannesberg. The film is a remake if the original Karz directed by Subhash Ghai, with Rishi Kapoor, Tina Munim and Simi Garewal in the lead roles..

Urmila is playing the character of Kamini, essayed by Simi in the original Karz. However, the original Karz did not have an item song for Simi. Meanwhile, this is the first time that Urmila and Himesh would be seen on the screen. Tandoori Nights has been sung by Himesh himself along with Sunidhi Chauhan. The remake is being produced by Bhushan Kumar & Krishan Kumar of T-Series. Besides Reshammiya and Urmila, the film stars heavyweights like Raj Babbar, Urmila Matondkar, Gulshan Grover, Danny Denzongpa and Rohini Hatangadi, along with debutant Shweta Kumar, who will be playing the role essayed by Tina Munim in the original. A lot of creative thinking seems to have gone into song and Urmila's character. Her look is being designed by none other than Manish Malhotra with creative inputs from Bhushan Kumar. The look is said to reported to be dominated by pastels. So it looks like Urmila, last seen in Ram Gopal Verma Ki Aag, in the famous Mhebooba number, is all set to scorch the screen yet again!
