Here's What Birthday Boy Aanand L. Rai Has To Say About His Upcoming Films

Today, the king of small town stories, Mr. Aanand L. Rai, is celebrating his birthday. ALR has delivered hit films like Tanu Weds Manu, Raanjhanaa and Tanu Weds Manu Returns, which have been loved by critics and audiences. His last film, Atrangi Re, saw a digital release but emerged as a successful outing.

Speaking about his genre of films on the occasion of his birthday, film-maker Aanand L Rai said, "I have always wanted to make India’s heartland a big part of our cinematic landscape and I’m happy to see that it finally is! His next production, Good Luck Jerry, starring Janhvi Kapoor, is scheduled to be released on OTT on 29th July 2022. After that, he will collaborate with Akshay Kumar for Gorkha, which is coming to cinemas in 2023.
