Salman and SLB had last worked together in Sonam Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor’s Bollywood debut Saawariya in which Khan had an extended cameo and now, they are joining forces again for a romantic film. The basic script of the love story is ready and Bhansali is now writing the screenplay.
Sources claim that Sanjay had discussed the idea with Salman even before the release of Padmaavat and Salman is also very excited to collaborate with his friend again. Salman has liked the script and has thus, decided to co-produce the film with SLB .
The film is expected to go on floors in the second half of the year. The makers are now in the process of finalising the film’s leading lady. Salman and Sanjay have previously worked together in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Khamoshi.
Meanwhile, Salman is busy with the last schedule of Bharat, which is presently being shot in Mumbai. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film is a remake of super hit Korean film, An Ode To My Father and will see Katrina Kaif opposite Khan.
