Here's Everything You Need To Know About Real Life Kamlesh - Paresh Ghelani AKA Parya, Sanjay Dutt's Best Friend

Vicky Kaushal has played Sanjay Dutt's best friend, Kamlesh aka Kamli in Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju and the actor is winning rave reviews for his outstanding performance in the Rajkumar Hirani-directed movie.

While Vicky's character is an amalgamation of Sanjay Dutt's three friends, it's primarily based on his best friend Paresh Ghelani aka Parya. Like Kamlesh, Paresh too is a Gujarati NRI, who resides in the US.

Paresh, who is affectionately called Parya by Dutt, is currently based in Los Angeles. While Kamlesh is seen wearing a red fur jacket when Sanjay Dutt gets released from jail, Kamlesh was seen clad in a red shirt outside Yerwada jail, the day Sanjay walked out of the prison, after completing his term. The duo was even seen hugging each other outside the prison.

Ghelani is a philanthropist and entrepreneur, who brought XPRIZE to India. He has built and invested in companies like Moon Express, Radimmune, Viome Inc, DTV Motor Corporation and Casepoint to name a few.

In the film Kamlesh is heard saying that he can't be with Sanju, post the 1993 blast, as his company works closely with the US government and this fact is indeed true. Ghelani's 2020 Company, LLC provides enterprise technology and performance optimization solutions for the US government.

However, sources claim that unlike what's shown in the movie, he came into Dutt's life after the Bombay bomb blast cases and has stood by him through thick and thin since then.

Paresh also attended the first screening of Sanju along with Dutt in Mumbai and the duo arrived in the same car.
