Here's Why Aamir Khan's Mother Wants To Be Present On The First Day Shoot Of Lal Singh Chadda

Aamir Khan is all set to kick start shooting for his upcoming next 'Lal Singh Chadda'. The film is the official remake of Tom Hanks' Forrest Gump and the first schedule of the movie is going to start rolling from 31st of October 2019.

Lal Singh Chadda is very close to Aamir Khan's heart and his mom Zeenath Hussain will be present while the shooting starts, as she wants to be the first person to give the first clap. The movie is going to be shot across 100 live locations in India, as the actor does not believe in studio setups.

The film will show different eras beginning from 70s to the present times. It will showcase some of the biggest highlights in the last five decades of the country's socio-political history, from the Emergency, Kargil War to Pulwama and Uri attack. It will also show transition of power in the government. A source close the project has revealed that the actors will have four to five different looks to portray each part of the time frame, for which both Aamir and Advait has been looking at the clothes, the culture and the looks that were prevalent for every era and redesigning it for a sardaar's look, that will fit the age and time. A lot has been said about Aamir's preparations for his role in the movie and he is even undergoing physical changes to better fit his character, the actor will be gaining a whopping 20 kgs. Also, the actor is growing his beard to keep the Punjabi look intact and will be sporting a turban in some parts of the film.

Written by Atul Kulkarni, the film is helmed by Advait Chandan. Which is jointly produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Aamir Khan Productions. The film will trace the journey of a slow-witted sardaar who has witnessed some of the most revolutionary events in the history of India. The movie is slated to hit the theatres during Christmas 2020, next year.
