Yami Gautam Dhar and Emraan Hashmi’s social courtroom drama Haq continues its disappointing run at the box office. After a weak opening weekend, the film’s weekday numbers have failed to show any meaningful recovery.

The film collected ₹1.25 crore nett on Tuesday, showing only a minimal rise from Monday’s ₹1.05 crore. The increase was mainly due to Tuesday ticket offers, but the overall trend remains flat. With this, the film’s total stands at ₹11.25 crore nett in India.

Here’s the breakdown of Haq’s box office performance so far:

Friday: ₹1.85 crore

Saturday: ₹3.35 crore

Sunday: ₹3.75 crore

Monday: ₹1.05 crore

Tuesday: ₹1.25 crore

Total: ₹11.25 crore nett approx.

The film is now heading for a 13–13.50 crore nett first week, which is well below expectations for a movie featuring two popular stars and a socially driven subject. Considering the current trend, Haq’s lifetime collection is likely to remain below ₹25 crore nett, confirming its fate as a box office flop.

Despite some appreciation for Yami Gautam’s sincere performance, Haq has failed to connect with audiences. Weak word of mouth, limited emotional pull, and a dull narrative have contributed to its poor performance. With new releases lined up for the coming weekend, Haq will lose even more screens, making recovery nearly impossible from here.
