Supermodel Gigi Hadid faced legal issues for her addiction to drugs. She was reportedly charged with possession of Marijuana as she landed in the Cayman Islands. This isn't the first time for the international model, as she was earlier slammed for a cocaine case at a Victoria’s Secret event back in 2015.
As per local news outlet Cayman Marl Road, Gigi Hadid and her friend arrived in the Cayman Islands last week. During the security check, customs officers found Marijuana and used vessels, increasing the suspicion of possessing prohibited items. This led to their arrest.
Soon after the arrest, Gigi and her friend appeared in court on July 12. Both pleaded guilty and paid the fine of $1000 each as per the court's orders. The court then released them on Bail. Her representative told the media portal she did not face any additional charges since she was carrying the stuff, which is legal.
