Director Martin Scorsese won several awards for his 2006 Leonardo DiCaprio and Matt Damon starrer The Departed, which was the Hollywood remake of 2002 Honk Kong cult crime-thriller Infernal Affairs and now, Mumbai-based Azure Entertainment Pvt Ltd and Warner Bros have joined hands for the Indian remake of the movie.

The makers are in the process of finalising a director for the Hindi remake. This project is the first of a two-picture deal between the two companies.
