Hollywood actor Tom Hanks is back as Robert Langdon in Inferno, which is based on Dan Brown’s bestseller by the same name. The first official poster of the film was unveiled and the film’s first teaser is set to be launched on May 9.
The film, which also stars Felicity Jones, Irrfan Khan, Omar Sy, Ben Foster and Sidse Babett Knudsen, is slated to release on October 14. The film is reportedly releasing two weeks before the US-release to avoid clash with two major Bollywood releases on Diwali weekend.
Irrfan Khan plays ‘The Provost’, the villain- Ben Foster’s, right hand man and the Indian audiences are waiting to see the actor perform in his yet another Hollywood film. Irrfan’s last Hollywood film was Jurassic World in 2015.
Inferno is directed by Ron Howard, who helmed the previous two films of the franchise, The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons.
