Firoz Nadiadwala Vs Akshay Kumar This January 2015

Akshay Kumar is already facing himself at the box office in January 2015. Now he has one more person to share screens with on that special weekend. Firoz Nadiadwala is getting ready to dig into Akshay's box office share on the Republic Day weekend. Initially, Firoz was going to lock horns with Rajkumar Hirani's PK on December 19th, now we hear he has registered 23rd January as his film's release date. Akshay's Gabbar and Baby release on the same date.

The Khiladi and Firoz were good friends at one point, but things soured between them when Firoz wanted Akshay to be a part of Hera Pheri 3 but Akshay refused citing financial reasons. He even kept Firoz waiting till the last minute after which the director finally decided to settle for a new cast.  Friends-turned-foes clashing at the box office has become a regular event in Bollywood.
