Bollywood has always been accused of aping Hollywood, but there have been cases where Hollywood films have used Bollywood songs (Chaiyya Chaiyya in Inside Man, Chamma Chamma in Moulin Rouge etc) and upcoming Hollywood film Lion too has done the same.

We have learned that the makers of the film, starring Dev Patel, Nicole Kidman, Rooney Mara and others, have used Bappi Lahiri's song 'Come Closer' from the 1984 film Kasam Paida Karne Wale Ki in Lion! The song has been picturised on Dev Patel while he is shown to be in Australia.

The film which is based on a real life story of Saroo Brierley, tells the tale of a five-year-old boy, who loses his way from home and finds himself homeless in Kolkata only to be later adopted by an Australian couple. On growing up, Saroo starts his journey to find his actual home using Google Earth. Lion also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Priyanka Bose, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Pallavi Sharda and others.

Releasing in India on February 24, Lion has been shot in Kolkata as well as in Australia.
