1) Deewana (1992)
SRK played an obsessed lover who is crazily in love with Divya Bharti. The film also featured Rishi Kapoor. The film had super hit music.
2) Baazigar (1993)
SRK played an anti-hero in this film and started the trend of anti-hero. It was loosely inspired by the Hollywood film A Kiss Before Dying. Film also starred Kajol and was the debut film of Shilpa Shetty.
3) Darr (1993)
In the film SRK played a crazy obsessive lover of Juhi Chawla who can go to any length to get his love. An anti-hero role once again. Sunny Deol played the convential hero of the film.
4) Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995)
DDLJ is one of the all-time blockbusters of Hindi cinema. A classic love story between the flamboyant Raj (SRK) and the sheltered Simran (Kajol). This film marked Aditya Chopra's directorial debut.
5) Yes Boss (1997)
A romantic comedy film which had Shah Rukh essaying the character of an ambitious guy who badly wants to move upward in life and who constantly caters to his boss's wishes. Film also starred Juhi Chawla and Aditya Pancholi.
6) Dil To Pagal Hai (1997)
A Yash Chopra musical starring Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit and Karisma Kapoor. The film had amazing music by Uttam Singh and scintillating choreography by Shiamak Davar.
7) Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998)
Karan Johar's debut directorial film starred SRK along with Kajol and Rani Mukerji. Salman Khan had a friendly appearance in the film. The film was a coming of age romantic film and the crackling chemistry between SRK and Kajol lit up the screens.
8) Devdas (2002)
A Sanjay Leela Bhansali adaption of the 1917 Sharat Chandra Chattopadhyay novel Devdas. The film had Shah Rukh essaying the role of Devdas while Aishwarya Rai Bachchan played Paro and Madhuri Dixit Nene played Chandramukhi. The film went on to win many awards.
9) Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003)
The film featured SRK in the role of Aman who suffers from a terminal disease and how he transforms Preity Zinta's life and encourages her to live life to the fullest. Saif Ali Khan and Jaya Bachchan also featured in key roles.
10) Swades (2004)
A coming of home story by Ashutosh Gowariker, the film had SRK essay the role of Mohan Bhargava who is a project manager at NASA. This is one of the very few films which had a very subtle performance by SRK unlike his earlier films where he essayed more flamboyant roles.11) Veer-Zaara (2004)
An epic star crossed romantic saga of Veer (SRK) who is from India and Zaara (Preity Zinta) who belongs to Pakistan. This can be easily called one of Yash Chopra's best films and was very well received. Rani Mukerji essayed a key role in the film.12) Chak De! India (2007)
SRK essayed the role of the coach of the Indian Girls Hockey team and the film was the classic tale of the underdog emerging triumphant against all odds. The film was directed by Shimit Amin and produced by Aditya Chopra. The film had a remarkable restrained performance coming from Shah Rukh Khan.13) Om Shanti Om (2007)
A typical Bollywood masala potboiler which marked choreographer Farah Khan's debut into direction. The film introduced Deepika Padukone and besides Shah Rukh Khan had Arjun Rampal, Shreyas Talpade and Kirron Kher in key roles. The film had rebirth as it's central theme and certain portions from the film reminded one of the classic Bimal Roy film Madhumati.14) Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008)
The film which marked Anushka Sharma's debut in Bollywood had SRK playing two characters in the film (though it was not a double role) - one was that of a simple ordinary looking man and the other of a rather flashy and extrovert character. Aditya Chopra was the director of the film and the film's track 'Tujhme Rab Dikhta Hain' was extremely popular.

The film brought together the golden pair of SRK-Kajol after a substantial gap and was directed by Karan Johar. Khan essayed the role of a character who suffers from Asperger’s Syndrome.16) Chennai Express (2013)
A crazy comedy action film directed by Rohit Shetty, the film brought together the jodi of SRK-Deepika Padukone for the second time after Om Shanti Om. The film is about SRK's journey from Mumbai to Rameshwaram, and what happens along the way after he falls in love with Deepika Padukone who is the daughter of a local don.
