Fighter is seeing a low response in advance booking so far, and there is no time left for recovery now. The film has just crossed 1 Lacs tickets sales in National chains (PVRInox and Cinepolis), with a few hours to go before the release day starts.

These are SHOCKINGLY low numbers for a big-budget film with a popular director and A-listers in the main cast. The advance sales for the day were expected to cross 2 lacs and had been called low anyway, but here the film is not even going close to 1.50 lacs in ticket sales.

Fighter should gather momentum on spot booking; otherwise, the day one numbers are going to be humiliating for the names attached to the film. The aerial action drama should be looking to cross the 20 crore nett mark on day one, which will be half of what one must have expected at the time of the teaser release.
