Fighter continues its decent run at the box office, keeping itself far from the high expectations people had from it before the release. The film has crossed the 100 crore nett mark in an extended weekend, which should have been done in the first two or three days only.
Fighter failed to show any major growth on Sunday. It collected only 5% higher from Saturday, while the usual growth on Sunday is above 20% for any big, decent movie. Shockingly, Fighter saw lower footfalls on Sunday than Saturday. The ticket sales on Sunday were close to what they were on Thursday, a non-holiday.
It is sure that the film can't become a big hit from here, but it can get an Average verdict to be termed a success. With a high budget on its shoulders, the film should have done at least 150 crore in the extended weekend to get a good total in its lifetime since weekday drop is very casual nowadays. But you can't survive that with underwhelming numbers in the weekend.
Below are the collections of Fighter in India :
Thursday - 23 crore
Friday - 38.5 crore
Saturday - 26 crore
Sunday - 27 crore
Total - 114.5 crore nett 135 crore gross
