Fighter arrived with big expectations on Thursday and has seen turbulence in the ride on the first day itself. The movie FAILED to score big on day one despite its wide release, big cast, higher ticket prices, and solo release.
Fighter collected approx. 21-22 crore nett on Thursday, which it should have done in advance sales only. Talking about footfalls, the film hardly made it to 10 lacs figure, and that's terribly low for any big event film.The film will see a jump today due to the national holiday, but still, the numbers won't be huge. Hrithik's War (2019) had done 50 crore nett on the national holiday with fewer screens and lower ticket prices, and believe it or not, Fighter will be chasing that old total today.
