Fatima Sana Shaikh stars as the leading lady in Aap Jaisa Koi, directed by Vivek Soni and produced by Dharmatic Entertainment, which will be streaming on Netflix from July 11, 2025. During a recent conversation with Movie Talkies, Fatima Sana Shaikh reiterated that Aap Jaisa Koi promotes equality among couples.

When asked whether this film promotes feminism, Fatima said, "Aap Jaisa Koi promotes equality among couples. Even in life, you want a partner who is equal to you, who loves you, and yet gives you enough freedom. The film focuses on that equality and also incorporates family values because it is designed that way. We haven't promoted any propaganda solely to elevate anyone."

Speaking about her character, she added, "Portraying Madhu in Aap Jaisa Koi was truly a memorable experience. We often associate strength and confidence with masculinity, but Madhu expresses these traits so gracefully, with vulnerability and feminine depth."
