Farhan Akhtar
Farhan Akhtar, who recently sent out a message asking citizens to gather at the August Kranti Maidan in Mumbai to protest against the Citizen Amendment Act, has now apologised for posting an incorrect map of India along with his call for action.
The map that he has posted doesn't show Pakistan Occupied Kashmir and Aksai Chin as a part of India. After several people called him out for posting it and asked Mumbai police to take action against him, Farhan apologised for it.
He shared a post, which reads, "I recently posted a message about a protest meeting on December 19th with the repost of a graphic about the meeting. While I stand by the text, I have only just noticed that the map of India on the graphic is inaccurate. Every inch and part of Kashmir is a part of India and I reject the inaccurate map. I regret not noticing this earlier. My sincere apologies for the oversight."
However, he hasn't deleted the post, yet.
