Bollywood actress Yami Gautam is currently busy with her upcoming investigation drama, LOST. The drama will feature the underbelly of Kolkata, and Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury's locations will play a pivotal role in the narrative. To capture the essence of West Bengal, the three-time National Award-winning director shot a major chunk of the film in the lively streets of the city. But it wasn't that easy for the team.
Shooting the film on real location wasn't an easy task for the team, as we hear that the fans flocked to the sets to catch a glimpse of the shoot and the actress. A source revealed, "Fans would flock to the set locations to catch a glimpse of Yami Gautam. The lead actress boasts a massive fandom, and it would become a challenge to control the crowd."
"But it was Yami Gautam who would talk to them or click a picture with them to put her fans at ease and not disrupt the shooting. She made the entire process go smoothly," the source further added.
That was indeed very sweet of Yami Gautam, who will play the author-backed role in LOST. The film comments on media integrity and also stars a talented cast, including Pankaj Kapur, Rahul Khanna, Neil Bhoopalam, Pia Bajpiee and Tushar Pandey. The screenplay is written by Shyamal Sengupta, the dialogues by Ritesh Shah, and the story by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury and Shyamal Sengupta. LOST is produced by Zee Studios, Shareen Mantri Kedia, Kishor Arora, Sam Fernandes and Indrani Mukherjee.
