Dancing diva Nora Fatehi will be one of the judges on the Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa 10 panel. She will be joining seniors like Madhuri Dixit-Nene and Karan Johar on the sets. The first episode will air from 3rd September on Colors TV. But before that, we caught the gorgeous Nora for a media interaction. Here are some exclusive excerpts.
It's a dream come true moment for Nora to be with Madhuri, so there's a fascination. At the same time, there's pressure too, because she is the youngest of the judges. So how does Nora deal with it?"So, yes, I get nervous. The pressure is there that I should also deliver and bring something new to the table. So I see how Karan sir and Madhuri ma'am are, and then I realise that I can bring my personality to the table, which is a little bit sassy, different and out of the box, and I think that gives the balance to what's happening on the show," Nora Fatehi told Movie Talkies.
She further added, "Yes, I am the youngest amongst the judges, but I know when it comes to giving judgements, I should also give logical comments with a little bit of Masti, so whatever I say needs to help the contestant. It needs to make sense so that people also respect me, and thankfully I have so much experience in this dance world, so much knowledge in this dance world that I can bring something of my own to the table."
Talking about how she got the offer and what it means to her, Nora shared, "I have learnt so much from the show, and I am back again. But this time as a judge. If I have to say it in one word, I will say, 'inspiration'. It is a dream come true moment to be with my icon Madhuri ma'am (Dixit). I am obsessed with her and I'm literally freaking out."Recalling her previous experience with Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa, Nora Fatehi said, "One day I became a contestant, but she wasn't a judge and I was desperate to meet her. It was my bad luck. After being a judge with her again in the last season as a guest judge, I am going to be a judge with her again. I cried when I got the call from the Jhalak team to be a judge."
