publive-imageShilpa Shinde, Bigg Boss Winner and Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai! fame, is coming back to the small screen after a while with Colors TV's show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10. The show will air on September 3rd, and the fans can't wait to see Shilpa's dancing skills. Here's an exclusive sneak peek into our conversation with Shilpa about Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa 10.

What are your initial thoughts on Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa 10, and how does it feel to return to the small screen? Shilpa Shinde answered, "Actually I was waiting for good projects. Aao to kuch accha karo (If you have to come, come with something good). Jhalak is a dance show, and dance is a trend in today's time. You know, Insta and TikTok. Why not in a reality show? Many people said that I should be active on Twitter and Instagram, and you know, many people get jobs because of the number of followers. I didn't want to do that just to get a job. I am not saying that those people are wrong, but it's just not my thing. I just couldn't do it. Jhalak is a dance show. Here it's like, you are going to learn to dance with money (laughs). You get the chance to be in a show, you are visible to fans, and then what else can one expect? And it's on a big channel like Colors, not a small one like the one I gave many chances to. I don't know the politics they play. I mean, it's everywhere, on TV too. It's their bad luck."publive-image"Jhalak and Colors are like.. You know, many people think that I have a problem with Colors due to my previous experiences, but I was genuinely happy with Bigg Boss. I said yes because I wanted to do it, and even today I said yes to Jhalak because I wanted to, despite knowing the limits of my dancing," she further explained.publive-imageWhen asked how she sees herself as a dancer, Shilpa told Movie Talkies, "Dance has many forms. Jhalak is a big show. It's a journey from a non-dancer to a dancer. Then why not do something that I haven't done? That's why I came to Jhalak. Now the dance has changed in Bollywood. It's not like those days of Govinda. The audience of reality shows is different too, and that also came to my mind while saying yes to Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa 10."publive-imageShilpa has a huge fanbase on social media and they are waiting for her comeback. Is there any pressure for a comeback? Shilpa Shinde shared, "I don't feel any pressure because I want to do something good for the fans. It's not like they are watching me do anything. I don't want them to call it bad and say they saw it just because I was there. I want to give them complete entertainment. It's not just me but other dancers too."
