Legendary Bollywood actor Dharmendra, who passed away today, leaves behind not only a monumental legacy but also a slate of projects that showed his unwavering passion for cinema even at this stage of his life. While audiences will see him one last time in Ikkis, scheduled to release on 25th December 2025, there was another film he had quietly committed to—Maine Pyar Kiya Phir Se. Many were unaware of this project, making the news even more emotional for his fans.

The film was to be directed by Sabir Shaik and produced by Ronnie Rodrigues under the banner of PBC Motion Picture Pvt. Ltd. Associate producers Keerti Kadam, Arbaaz Khan, and Vidya Malavade were also set to be part of the team. Dharmendra had personally attended the film’s announcement event, expressing genuine excitement about the story and the opportunity to return to the romantic-drama space that made him a beloved star for generations.

According to those present at the event, the veteran actor was full of energy and enthusiasm. He had planned to begin shooting in December 2025, right after celebrating his birthday. He was preparing  for the character. His readiness to face the camera once again was a testament to his dedication, showing that his love for cinema never faded despite the passing years.

Sadly, fate had other plans, and the film will now remain incomplete without its leading legend. Maine Pyar Kiya Phir Se will stand as a reminder of Dharmendra’s undying spirit and the stories he still wanted to tell. His absence leaves a void that Bollywood will feel forever.
