Ayan Mukerji's marketing techniques for Brahmastra are different from regular movies. Instead of grand media events and launches, he opted for exclusive previews for the trailer and now for Deva Deva Song. This helps him interact with the media people more personally, and both the times he showed the stuff in 3D. That's the biggest USP. Unfortunately, the regular audience had to see the trailer on mobiles, iPads, and laptops while the real fun of watching this on-screen spectacle lies in the 3D effects. However, the team attached trailer with 3D Hollywood movies, which helped them a bit, as the urban audience is currently going gaga over Hollywood superhero sagas.
Watching Deva Deva in 3D has improved the viewing experience for me, and I wish everybody could have witnessed it in 3D, which is practically impossible. The audio of this song is a mix of spirituality and romance, with a lot of Western instruments involved in it. And what a visual treatment it has got.The video song of Deva Deva will help you understand the world of Shiva and Brahmastra to some extent beyond what you have got to know in the trailer. Yes, Alia is there, so her fans can enjoy her presence. Yes, Big B is also there, as we have already seen in the song's teaser. Yes, it has more visuals that were not part of the song's teaser or the trailer of the film. Watch out for the last 30 seconds.
Pritam has done an excellent job once again, but I believe the romance could have been cut because we already have Kesariya for that. That Shiva trans and Ranbir's mad dance is what you will enjoy watching in repeat mode. As Ayan promised, we will get to see a longer version of it in the film on September 9th, 2022.
