Actor Esha Gupta has safely returned home after being briefly stranded in the UAE amid the recent regional tensions. Taking to Instagram, the actress shared a detailed note describing her experience and thanked everyone for their concern.

Confirming her safe return, Esha wrote, “Back home. Thank you all for your prayers and wishes. It was very tough to be in the situation that we all were. Truly gods blessing to safe!” Her post quickly drew relief and supportive messages from fans.

She revealed that the uncertainty began when she reached the airport. “It started when I was at the airport on the 28th(Sunday). By 1pm the airport was closed, chaos all around as none of us knew what happened.” According to her, the situation became tense after reports of missile attacks started circulating.

Esha also praised the authorities in the UAE for their swift response. She noted, “The ground staff and airport security immediately lunged to action and stayed calm throughout even though we were all in this situation together.” She added that passengers were provided assistance, including accommodation and transfers.

Describing the atmosphere, the actress said strangers comforted one another during the uncertainty. “Strangers consoling each other, all calling their families back home,” she wrote, highlighting the emotional moments at the airport and hotel.

She further mentioned that hotel staff and services continued functioning smoothly despite the security alerts. “There was no shortage of any service anywhere… scared, but no chaos,” she shared.

Esha concluded by confirming that Etihad had sent passengers mails/messages for rebooking or refunds, bringing relief to stranded travellers. Her post has since reassured fans that she is safe and back home after what she called a very tough situation.
