It's been less than three months since it was launched, and it's already the end of the road for Ravindra Gautam's Armanon Ka Balidaan! The reservation centric drama starring Dolly Bindra is all set to make an exit from the small screen in the first week of April.

The show began grabbing headlines even before it was launched, albeit for all the wrong reasons. First off, there was the tussle for the title. Prakash Jha was understandably irked since the term Aarakshan was registered with him. Once the producers decided to change the name to Armanon Ka Balidaan, the serial was shifted from its prime time slot of 8:30 pm to 7:30pm to accommodate Shah Rukh Khan's Zor Ka Jhatka.

After that, it was Dolly Bindra who made it to the news, sometimes for her exorbitant fee demands (reportedly 1 crore!) and at other times for her erratic behaviour and on set tantrums.

Even as the media speculates about the fate of Armanon and producers remain unavailable for comment, the actors have no clue about what is going to happen next. Pariva Pranati, protagonist of the show, recently told a tabloid, "I've heard rumours of the show going off air, but we are yet to be informed by the production house."
